Within a cosy atmosphere, unique architecture, and excellent location, Duas Portas is a family project, which is born out of the true “portuense” (people of Porto) desire to host at home. The restoration of an old house brings a taste of modernity but preserves the tradition and context in which it is inserted in - Porto.
With wide-open views to the Douro River, the enchanted hideaway rests in a unique peaceful location, just 10 minutes away from the city centre, and a few steps from the sea. The house has a total of eight rooms, all of them unique, transmitting a tranquil and delicate vibe for the most comfortable stay.
The decoration combines design pieces with furniture exclusively designed for the project. The house conveys a juxtaposition of modernity with the tradition of the original architecture, portraying a balanced harmony and simplicity as a whole.
Envisioned, designed and conceived by three women from the same family, Duas Portas offers the most caring and attentive service to its guests. Wake up to a delicious homemade breakfast, savouring high quality seasonal, fresh and unprocessed ingredients surrounded by welcoming, beautiful people.
Duas Portas (Two Doors) are always open and invite you to experience and live the true “Ser Português” (Portuguese way), escaping typecasts and commonplaces.
