Hotel Corazón
Hotel Corazón, located on the western side of Mallorca, is a newly opened hotel with 15 rooms. It also serves as a farm, restaurant, art hub, and shop. Situated between the charming villages of Deià and Sóller, this hotel occupies a beautifully renovated historic finca nestled amidst the Tramuntana mountains and the Mediterranean Sea.
Operated by first-time hoteliers and lifelong artists Kate Bellm and Edgar Lopez, Hotel Corazón is a sanctuary dedicated to the ideals of freedom, exploration, art, and nature. It offers a novel way of living characterized by a carefree lifestyle and daily adventures. Here, there are no TV screens, only breathtaking vistas.
The furnishings and facilities at Hotel Corazón are meticulously handcrafted by local artisans using the finest materials from the island, yet the essence of the place remains unpretentious and authentic. Adventure takes precedence over haste, and an atmosphere of unbridled freedom prevails. This is a haven for those who relish going barefoot, savoring fruits straight from the trees, taking moonlit swims in the sea, and wandering among the pine trees.
The historic structure of the finca has been expertly preserved and rejuvenated by local architects Moredesign. The interior has been reimagined to create a harmonious, fluid space with sinuous contours, effectively blurring the boundaries between indoors and outdoors.
The hotel boasts two luxurious suites and 13 superior and double rooms. Additionally, it offers communal spaces, including a sunlit conservatory adorned with cacti, a refreshing swimming pool, a cozy fireplace room, an interior courtyard reminiscent of a riad, a gallery area, and extensive gardens.
The Hotel Corazón Restaurant, under the leadership of local legend Grace Berrow, proudly serves breakfast, lunch, and aperitifs prepared using produce cultivated on the hotel's farm or sourced exclusively from local providers. Run by artists, the space is adorned with original artwork from the owners and their artist friends, continually enriched through its Artist in Residence program. Hotel Corazón hosts a variety of planned and impromptu events, such as exhibitions, jam sessions, performances, and immersive sound experiences. Additionally, guests can partake in on-site yoga, reiki, and massage sessions.
Hotel Corazón is a place where you can conquer your fears or simply embrace relaxation. It seamlessly combines luxury with a touch of wilderness, making you feel at home.
