Kisawa is a happy pairing of innovation and tradition. They believe in inclusive design and have worked with skilled artisans from Benguerra Island as well as patented 3D printing technology. Decisions have been carefully made to protect the environment and we have ensured a light footprint on the natural landscape where possible. Their vision has been to blend rather than interrupt.
Reflective luxury is the concept that Nina Flohr has proposed to develop in the Kisawa Sanctuary hotel, a design that focuses on local crafts, environmental preservation and sustainability, on the island of Benguerra. A most sensory trip to the beautiful and virgin beaches of Mozambique, Africa.
Kisawa Sanctuary is an authentic eco-friendly sanctuary that blends harmoniously with the landscape and merges nature with luxury, good service and the culture of Mozambique.
The bungalows are distributed in twelve residences along five kilometers of land and 300 hectares of forest in front of Benguerra beach. Guests are welcomed in fourteen uniquely and individually furnished bungalows, each with its own dreamy infinity pool and beachfront day area.
Location
Benguerra Island is situated 14 kilometres off Mozambique, on the Eastern coast of Africa.
