Arijiju Retreat
At the top of a hill, Arijiju is carved out of a bed of rock, immersed in wild flora, camouflaging among the ocher and green colors of the landscape. Surrounded by the Borana Conservancy, this eco-lodge supports its endangered species programs, including the one dedicated to black rhinos.
Arijiju's Hidden Paradise Garden, designed by landscaper Jinny Blom, is surrounded by the walls of the cloister, a green haven open to the rooms. The construction blends in harmony with the savannah and is self-sufficient, with a low environmental impact, the house seems to almost merge with the hill on which its foundations are carved.
Interiors, by decorator Maira Koutsoudakis, are discreetly luxurious, blending traditional design with modern touches for the most comfortable and beautiful stay. Wake up to a delicious homemade breakfast in the middle of this African wild landscape, and enjoy nature at its fullest.
