We designed our House as a nonchalant innkeeper’s eclectic escape that reflects her flair for cultivating the island’s native botany and practicing holistic wellness.
Imagine coastal bedrooms and a delicious breakfast curated by a well-traveled innkeeper, hidden treasures hand-picked from all over the world, displayed among old furnishings and native flora. Enjoy Diptyque fragrances, Le Labo bath products, and Revival luxury linens in the rooms. Every single detail is thought to make you feel at home.
Nantucket's botany is a treasured landmark to local islanders and visitors alike. Prior innkeepers intentionally named each room after a flower to celebrate the local landscape. The hotel is filled with floral touches, from hand-painted light fixtures to botanical ceramic tiles in the showers to a private garden. At the same time, hues of deep plum, dusty jade, and mauve add something new to the quintessential handwoven and vintage details that reflect the coastal New England landscape.
The curated gallery-style entry reflects an innkeeper's collection of souvenirs. Fringed Murano glass crowns the guest entry, while a hand-tufted Sabre runner graces the stairs. From nostalgic oil paintings to poetry archives to a collection of vintage Gucci scarves (with wild island mushroom patterns), every design feature adds charm and character to the property, both thoroughly modern and distinctively historical.
