Casa Luum
Once an old ruin at the end of a dirt road, this minimalistic architectural home is nestled among wildflowers and hundreds of olive, almond and cork trees. Casa Luum is a project designed by the architect Pedro Domingos, a dreamy retreat located in the region of Algarve, in Portugal, an area known for its beautiful sandy beaches. The style stands out for being a modern construction of neat geometry, large windows and bright white walls.
The pure whiteness of the structure combined with the intense sun and the blue sky create a poetic and refined atmosphere where the effects of light and shadow are further accentuated by the presence of water, one of the essential elements of the project. Of avant-garde essence, the house stands out in its natural environment as a juxtaposition of the modern with the raw and wild of the landscape.
