Located in Mahón (Menorca), the hotel welcomed its first guests this spring with a total of 21 rooms distributed around a swimming pool and a spectacular garden in the historic center of the city.
The interior designer Lorenzo Castillo and the landscaper Álvaro de la Rosa, together with the wonderful work of the hostess, have been in charge of giving life to a space that breathes personality and family character.
Menorca is - and will be - the eternal dream of any traveler. Its white-sand beaches, its incredible coves, and a sky-blue sea have made this Mediterranean island the favorite spot for someone who enjoys an atypical, wild and natural destination.
Balearic white for the background, the dreamy island retreat breathes Mediterranean airs thanks to the play of its fabrics, lights, details, colors, and a youthful touch that Castillo has achieved by mixing pieces from different styles and times. The majority obtained in antique shops in Spain, England and France with their own history.
Cristine Bedfor lives in harmony with its surroundings; something that is reflected in its exquisite gastronomic proposal. The products and flavors that define the Balearic character prevail, especially, those of the island of Menorca.
For this task, Cristine Bedfor has relied on the experience of Ses Forquilles, a space defined by 15 years of work and dedication.
Home far away from home… The intention and commitment lie in making the guests feel better than at home, sharing with them the most special corners of the island. Cristine Bedfor's wish is to become that home you never want to leave from.
